Explore Race, Culture and Urban Life Through the Eyes of a True New Yorker

SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Public Library will screen four cinema “joints” by filmmaker Spike Lee, one on each Friday in January at 2:30 PM in the 3rd floor auditorium of the Central Library, located at 820 E Street in downtown San Diego.

Friday Talking Pictures is a worldspanning celebration of contemporary and classic cinema viewed on a wide silver screen.

Audience discussions will oftentimes follow the screenings.

This event is FREE and open to the public. Unobtrusive snacks welcome.
