"The Artist," Winding Refn Win At Las Vegas Critics Awards

Michel Hazanavicius’s “The Artist” led the winners of the Las Vegas Film Critics Society’s Sierra Awards, taking awards for best picture, actor, score, art direction and costume design. It marks yet another critics win for the French import, which has been dominating awards season so far.

Other films with a lot of presence on both lists were “Drive,” which won best director and best supporting actor, and “Hugo,” which was runner-up for best picture and also took awards for best editing and best family film.
