The Directors Guild of America has announced its nominees for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Documentary, three days after the DGA revealed their nominees for narrative filmmaking.
The nominees include Cinema Eye Honors winner Steve James (“The Interrupters”). DGA favorite Martin Scorsese garnered a nomination for his George Harrison HBO documentary and Richard Press received his first nomination for his “Bill Cunningham New York.”
