First Look: 'The Artist' Blooper Reel Stumbles Onto the Internet

Need a dose of slapstick physical humor? We thought so. Two minutes of gloriously silly bloopers from Best Picture front nominee "The Artist" have emerged online — and some of the mugging, toothy grins, and crack-ups nearly rival what made the final cut.

"The Artist" still leads the pack as the favorite for Best Picture this year; Michel Hazanavicius's black-and-white silent took home three Golden Globes and earned 10 Oscar nominations. The film is set in 1927 Hollywood as silent pictures are slowly giving way to Talkies. The film stars Jean Dujardin, Berenice Bejo, Malcolm McDowell, John Cromwell and John Goodman.
