HBO Sets Official Premiere Date For "Game of Thrones" Season 2

I know a lot of you are fans of the series, if comments in previous posts are any indication; and I’m sure it’ll gain even more fans with a new set of actors joining the upcoming, highly-anticipated season 2 of the hit HBO show – specifically black Brits Lucian Msamati and Nonso Anozie, and all the debate that accompanied those posts about black British versus black American actors.

You’ll all be happy to know that HBO has finally set a return date for season 2 of Game Of Thrones; based on the best-sellers by George R.R. Martin, season 2 of the epic fantasy series will debut on Sunday, April 1 (April Fools day – though this isn’t an April Fools joke).

Season 2 will comprise of 10-episodes.

I missed season 1, but I’m waiting for the DVD/Blu-ray set to be released on March 6, giving me enough time to catch up before season 2 begins.
