“The Aaron Cohens”
Tweetable Logline:
“The Social Network” Meets “Annie Hall”
Elevator Pitch:
Midlife Crisis. Some people get a sports car, a hair cut, or a divorce. I decided to make a film about people I met on Facebook with exact name. This is a film about men named Aaron Cohens and their mothers. It’s created entirely by people named Aaron Cohen.
Production Team:
Produced and Directed by: Aaron Morris Cohen
Cinematography and Editing: Aaron Fisher Cohen
Written: Aaron Russel Cohen and Aaron Morris Cohen
Producer of Marketing and Distribution: Aaron Christopher Cohen
Music by: Young MC Aaron Cohen
About the Production:
I’m not a filmmaker, an actor, a comic, or writer. I just started friending Aaron Cohens on Facebook one day.
But, I’ve been fortunate. By friending Aaron Cohens, I’ve met 3 who do know how to make movies.
Aaron Cohen raps, tunes cars, and serves in the United States Army. Not surprisingly he’s a neurosurgeon but he’s also a bull rider. And then there are the mothers. They are proud, loud, nurturing, overbearing, cute and not-so-cute.
There are Aaron Cohens in Omaha, Juneau, and Spartanburg. There are 323 Aaron Cohens in Israel. Around the Aarons in 100 days.
Current Status:
We’re in Production. Crowdsourcing and private fundraising to reach the promised land.
