Lynn Shelton's romantic comedy "Your Sister's Sister," starring Emily Blunt, Mark Duplass and Rosemarie DeWitt, will open the 2012 Seattle International Film Festival (May 17 – June 10). This marks the first time the festival has kicked off with a locally produced film by a local filmmaker.
"I hope the city will come raise a glass to our incredibly talented crew and to the entire Seattle film community, without which this film would never have been made," Shelton said in a statement.
The film, which world premiere at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival, is currently screening at the Sundance Film Festival.
