THE FIRST TIME is a high school romance that follows two teenagers over the course of one weekend. Dave, a senior about to graduate, and Aubrey, a junior from a different school, meet one night at a party. What begins as a casual conversation soon turns into something more intimate, more romantic, and more complicated than either of them is ready for.
The film stars up-and-comers Dylan O’Brien (“Teen Wolf”), Britt Robertson (“The Secret Circle”), Victoria Justice (Paramount’s upcoming Fun Size), Craig Roberts (Submarine), James Frenchville (Animal Kingdom), LaMarcus Tucker (“Glee”), and Maggie Elizabeth Jones (We Bought a Zoo). Christine Taylor (Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story) also stars.
THE FIRST TIME is written and directed by Jonathan Kasdan (In the Land of Women) and executive produced by Carol Fuchs and Liah Kim.
“We are absolutely thrilled to be bringing THE FIRST TIME to Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions and to begin working with them on a fresh, funny, and inventive approach to reaching our audience. Their enthusiasm for the movie, and for its young stars, makes them the ideal partner,” said Kasdan.
