Watch 3 Short Films By Ozwald Boateng Ahead Of "A Man's Story" Theatrical Debut

I recall when I first wrote about the feature documentary on charismatic Ghanaian-born Savile Row designer, Ozwald Boateng, mentioning Ozwald’s appreciation for cinema, and how film inspired him to write and direct as many as 10 short films, none of which I’d seen at the time.

I did search for them back then (in mid-2010) but couldn’t find anything online.

This morning, performing a search for some info on the faeture documentary on the man’s life, I essentially stumbled upon several of these Ozwald Boateng short films, which, according to YouTube, were uploaded in mid-2011 – so about a year after I first wrote about him.

I watched a few of them and, as I suspected, they are pretty much ads for his line of suits, some more elaborate than others, each about 2-minutes long, although some are over 4 minutes; one of them is even a work of animation.

So not your standard 30-second TV spot. But still ads for his pricey but cool designs.

I embedded 3 of the more *interesting* ones for you to watch below…

First the 2 short ones: No Boundaries and Sprint:

And this last one is a piece of animation he did for Givenchy; the anime is only about 5 minutes long, but it’s followed by an actual show which is much longer.
