Weekend B.O. April 6-8 (No surprise...)

No surprise this week folks. Once again The Hunger Games was No. 1 at the box office and let’s face it, Games will be No. 1 every weekend for the rest of the month until The Avengers opens on May 4th

(NO WAIT! I take that back. I think Think Like A Man will beat Games when it comes out two weeks from now. Games will then should be making somewhere in the mid teens to low 20’s by then and Man is headed for an over $20 million weekend opening if predictiions are right)

But Games has already shot past the $300 million mark domestically and will no doubt shoot well past the $350 million gross that experts were predicting.

Adding the domestic total with overseas b.o. results in 40 foreign territories, with Austriala, the U.K. and Russia going for the film big time, the worldwide total so far is approaching $418 million. That makes Games one of the biggest box office hits of the year. A year that is so far outpacing total box office grosses of previous years.
