Indie Drama 'Lesson Before Love' (Lives Of Young, Progressive Black Singles) Gets Limited Theatrical

Details from the press release follow:

Indie filmmaker Dui Jarrod’s film Lesson Before Love will be the opening in four cities as part of SMG With A Twist Alternate Programming at Studio Movie Grill locations.

The film will be released exclusively in Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas and Houston early October

Lesson Before Love is described as:

… the dramatic story of four unfulfilled singles’ journey towards love, while trying to find themselves along the way.

This is Jarrod’s first feature film, after producing several short films, web series and traveling play productions.

There’s no greater feeling then seeing all of your hard work come together. It has been so though for our film because we did have any stars, I’m thankful Studio Movie Grill supports great stories and believed in us enough to give us a limited release… People tell you all the time, all it takes is one person to believe in you for everything to change. Hopefully this is that moment. Actually, can’t stop smiling just thinking about the possibilities,” said Jarrod.

The film screened at the 2012 Act Now New Voices In Black Cinema here in NYC.
