NOW we’re talking! Here’s the just-released trailer for the upcoming hardcore action flick, The Last Stand, marking the return to the screen, in a lead role, for Arnold Schwarzenegger, doing what he knows best: knocking heads and creating mayhem.
Along with him, as you will see in the trailer, is Forest Whitaker.
The film deals with an aging sheriff in a sleepy border town, who tangles with a drug cartel kingpin who, with the help of a hired band of vicious mercenaries, has escaped from an FBI prisoner convoy.
But what makes this film very special is that it marks the American film debut of South Korean director Jee-Woon Kim, who directed I Saw The Devil, one of the most disturbing serial killer films ever made, as well as the totally wacky, off the wall, most exhilarating period action films ever seen on the big screen, The Good The Bad and The Weird.
If you say you love action films and haven’t see it, then you can’t call yourself a lover of action films.
The Last Stand comes out on January 18, 2013.
