Watch: Channing Tatum Pines for Rosario Dawson in Trailer For 'Ten Years'

Before going on to produce this summer’s sleeper hit “Magic Mike,” Channing Tatum flexed his producing muscles on the ensemble drama “Ten Years,” in which he also stars. The film, directed by first time filmmaker Jamie Linden, premiered in Toronto last year and opens via Anchor Bay September 14. Watch the just-released trailer below.

Inspired by Tatum’s own high school reuinion, “Ten Years” follows a group of friends on the night of their own reunion. Tatum plays Jake, whose relationship with his girlfriend (played by Tatum’s wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum) is jeopardized when he runs into his high school flame (Rosario Dawson). Ari Graynor, Lynn Collins, Max Minghella, Chris Pratt, Oscar Isaac, Kate Mara and Aubrey Plaza round out the stellar cast.

Following his runaway success with “Magic Mike,” Tatum isn’t slowing down on the producing front. Up next for the fledgling producer: “The Contortionist’s Handbook” in which he will star opposite Dustin Hoffman; the sequel to “21 Jump Street”; and the sci-fi romance “Ion,” co-produced by Ridley and Tony Scott.
