The European Film Academy opened the vote for the 2012 People’s Choice Awards and announced the roster of final films for the 2012 contest – including “The Artist,” “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel,” “The Iron Lady,” and “In Darkness.” The EFA invites audiences to weigh in, and if you’re so inclined you can visit their site here to cast your ballot, and enter to win a trip to the 25th European Film Awards in Malta.
Previous winners of the EFA include foreign film staples like Pedro Almodóvar’s “Volver,” Roberto Benigni’s “La Vita E Bella,” Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s “Amelie,” Fatih Akin’s “Head-On,” and Danny Boyle’s “Slumdog Millionaire.”
