Over 40 New Photos & 3 New TV Spots From 'Seven Psychopaths'

A meta movie about the movies, a comedy about dog-napping featuring a rogue’s gallery of performers, Martin McDonagh‘s “Seven Psychopaths” is about as big a 180 as you can get from “In Bruges.” While we didn’t think it all worked, it can’t be denied that the Midnight Madness audience at TIFF that we saw it with went along for the ride in a huge way. With the movie set to drop into theaters soon, a massive array of photos and three new TV spots have landed for the pic.

Colin Farrell reteams with McDonagh, this time playing a screenwriter who is struggling to pen his new screenplay. His buddy Sam Rockwell is eager to help and inject his own ideas, but before long Rockwell winds up getting involved in a dognapping scheme that puts both men in the path of a vicious gangster played by Woody Harrelson. Things spin wildly out of control from there: jumping from movies-within-the-movie, to a sly commentary on Hollywood at large, to a pitch black comedy that doesn’t hold back on the bullets, “Seven Psychopaths” certainly never stops moving. But running nearly two hours long, it also nearly exhausts itself far before the credits. But with a supporting cast that inclues Christopher Walken, Tom Waits, Olga Kurylenko, Abbie Cornish, Gabourey Sidibe and more, you’re never lacking in a recognizable face.

Judge for yourself when the film opens on October 12th.
