With "The Master" soaking up admiration from all corners of the fall festival field (it just won multiple awards at Venice), it's easy to forget that star Philip Seymour Hoffman has another movie on tap, the drama "A Late Quartet." The film, which also features Catherine Keeener, Christopher Walken and Wallace Shawn, will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival Monday night, September 10.
RKO Pictures and Entertainment One have the film scheduled for a November 2 limited release in the United States. Directed by Yaron Zilberman, it concerns a veteran string quartet struggling to keep it together while dealing with death and lust.
