Project of the Day: Puerto Rican Film 'Parkside' is a Dramatic Comedy of the Everyday

Here’s your daily dose of an indie film in progress; at the end of the week, you’ll have the chance to vote for your favorite.

In the meantime: Is this a movie you’d want to see? Tell us in the comments.
Tweetable Logline:
When everyone is a character there is no need for fiction.
Elevator Pitch:

Parkside is about you, me and all of us. A comedic drama or a dramatic comedy about a group of people who live or visit Parkside. It lets the spectator take a peek into the lives of the people in Parkside showing that everybody, in there daily live and mundane situations, can be interesting and genuine characters.

Production Team:

Writer/Director: Juan C. Linares Riera
Writer/Art Director: Alameda del Cobre
Director of Photography: Iván Velázquez
Composer: Ian M. Cordero

About the Production:
“I have always been fascinated by people and what makes them interesting. I´ve always been intrigued by the details that define personalities and have learned to love to observe people, specially when they are going around their daily routines. This movie is exactly about that. A voyeuristic peek into the lives of the people who live in an apartment complex and how the small details that I love makes them special. It is those specific observations that I have always been interested in that make these characters worthwhile. This is a movie about what I love.” — Juan C. Linares Riera
