UPDATE: The Indiana Film Journalists Association and the Houston Film Critics Circle have announced their nominations, with “The Master” again making a strong showing with nine nominations in Indiana, and six nods in Houston. “Lincoln” earned the most nominations in Houston, with eight nods. EARLIER:The Chicago Film Critics Association likes Paul Thomas Anderson’s “The Master.” The film led their nominations for 2012 with ten nods including Best Picture, Director, Actor (Joaquin Phoenix), Supporting Actress (Amy Adams) and Supporting Actor (Philip Seymour Hoffman). “Beasts of the Southern Wild” follows with nine nominations, while both “Zero Dark Thirty” and “Lincoln” have eight.
