The Directors Guild of America announces the nominees for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in TV and commercials for 2012. Guild president Taylor Hackford says that TV is in “one of the most creative and fruitful periods in its history, and television directors are a critical element of that success.” The winners will be announced February 2 at the DGA Awards dinner, hosted by Kelsey Grammar.
