Project of the Day: The Long Lost Lesbian Sister of a Famous Family, 'Kam Kardashian'

Here’s your daily dose of an indie film in progress; at the end of the week, you’ll have the chance to vote for your favorite.

In the meantime: Is this a movie you’d want to see? Tell us in the comments.
Kam Kardashian: A Webseries
Tweetable Logline:
Kam Kardashian is a web series about the day to day adventures of the long-lost lesbian sister from a very famous family.
Elevator Pitch:
Kam Kardashian is a web series that follows Kameron, the long-lost lesbian Kardashian sister who was cut off, kicked out, and left to fend for herself. This sticky-fingered vixen loves whiskey and women, and most of all: yearns to re-insert herself into the Kardashian krown by any means possible (whether it be through petty crime, Photoshop, or her slightly unbalanced best friend, Mary Hollis).

As the second season kicks off, a top secret GLAAD-like organization has discovered Kam’s existence and struggles to change her ways and turn her into a positive role model (a la Ellen Degeneres, Chely Wright).

Production Team:

Director: Ryan Logan
Producer: Fawzia Mirza
Cinematographer: Amanda Clifford
Writers: Fawzia Mirza, Mary Hollis Inboden, Joel Kim Booster, Jackie Migliore
Art Director: Curtis Cassell

About the Production:
“We feel that we are making something that’s not out there. There is still such an insatiable thirst for quality LGBTQ stories, particularly those portraying characters who are honest, imperfect, and as diverse as the world around us. Kam is an outsider without her family’s support; so she makes her own.

“We also love collaboration! Since the first season we’ve been approached by many gifted Chicago performers that want to laugh and play with us – opening up Kam’s world and making the second season bigger and better than ever.” – Ryan Logan

Current Status:
Pre-production for Season 2.
