Register Now for FEST Training Ground 2013, Filmmaker and Film Enthusiasts' Workshop Convention in Portugal

Registration is open for FEST Training Ground 2013 in Espinho, Portugal, a weeklong convention for filmmakers and film enthusiasts from all over the world, featuring workshops and master classes guided by industry experts.

Past workshop leaders include Oscar nominee Fernando Trueba (“Chico & Rita”), three-time Oscar winning sound mixer David Macmillan (“Apollo 13,” “Speed,” “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom”), cinematographer Tom Stern (“The Hunger Games,” “Gran Torino,” “Million Dollar Baby”) and Oscar-winning editor Martin Walsh (“Chicago”).

When and Where?

From June 25-30 In Espinho, Portugal, 15 minutes south of Porto in the sea-coast line. A tourism orientated city and one of the summer hotspots of Portugal.

Why go?

It is an excellent opportunity on many levels. The knowledge present is overwhelming, with the best experts in the world. More than 300 people will come from all over the world to attend, creating an atmosphere where filmmakers can learn from one other and the experience.
