Congrats to 'My Super Valentine,' Indiewire's Project of the Week!

Thanks to your votes, the story of being bullied to in love “My Super Valentine” won this weekend’s Project of the Week contest!

Congratulations to “My Super Valentine” director Jing Yang. The filmmaker will receive a digital distribution consultation from SnagFilms and the film is now officially a candidate for Project of the Month. That winner will be awarded with a consultation from the Tribeca Film Institute.
Here’s what the project’s about:
My Super Valentine is a cute and sweet short film with a tense plot. Timid and imaginative 7-year old Ashley has to stand up against the class bully in order to save her secret crush, and let him know how she feels in an art class on Valentine’s Day. The film is shot from a child’s perspective, interweaving Ashley’s black-humored fantasy and her real world where she needs to be true to her heart and make quick and tough decisions.
