Project of the Day: From Website to Feature-Length Film, 'Total Frat Movie'

Here’s your daily dose of an indie film in progress; at the end of the week, you’ll have the chance to vote for your favorite.

In the meantime: Is this a movie you’d want to see? Tell us in the comments.

“Total Frat Movie”

Tweetable Logline:

First the hit website, then The NEW YORK TIMES Best-Selling book, and now we are making an original fraternity comedy – TOTAL FRAT MOVIE.

Elevator Pitch:

From hit website to #7 New York Times Best Seller debut, to garnering support from iconic brands like BroBible, The Chive and YouTube legends Jimmy Tatro and Dom Mazzetti to a record-breaking $30,000 soft launch Indiegogo campaign for “Total Frat Movie”–a film they pledge will make ‘Animal House’ look like a Pixar movie–there’s no denying that TotalFratMove.com is a force to be reckoned with.

Hollywood veterans, Bob Sanitsky and Brian Ross join with Indiegogo to give fans the flick they want and embrace the true frat boy spirit–not allowing some “God Damn Independent” Hollywood executives to compromise the film’s “integrity.”

Production Team:

Executive Producers: Madison Wickham & Ryan Young
Producers: Bob Sanitsky, Brian K. Ross, and Brad Luff, Stephen Fromkin

About the Production:

We want to make the greatest fraternity movie ever. We feel a big obligation to produce the kind of movie that is worthy of the Total Frat Move name. We want the freedom to make a movie that’s representative of fraternity life today and the Total Frat Move brand. You’ve seen Hollywood’s version of fraternity movies for the last 25 years, and they generally don’t ring true. TOTAL FRAT MOVIE will be YOUR version of fraternity life. We hope to embrace the vision of the website and will not allow notes from some GDI Hollywood executives to compromise the film.
