About the Production:
“I have always been caught between cultures and different worlds. As an Egyptian, I left Cairo so long ago that I lost my association with the culture. As a Turkish resident, I am reminded that my time in Istanbul is limited. My current home is in New York, but I don’t consider myself to be American. As the film developed, it has become a portrait of the things we take for granted, the ridiculous arguments you have with your family, the inside jokes between friends and the idea of not taking advantage of an opportunity before it’s too late.” — Mo Faramawy
