New 'Iron Man 3' Poster Is A Good Example Of Bad Photoshop, Kevin Feige Shares Joss Whedon's Reaction To The Movie

You might not remember, or perhaps you deleted it from your memory, but circa Marvel‘s campaign for “Iron Man 2,” they dropped a hilariously terrible international poster that basically was a mashup of all the things in the movie. Well, three years on, they haven’t deviated from the playbook as a new one-sheet has arrived, and once again, a lowly intern (probably) has cut and pasted a bunch of stuff together.

Seriously, this poster has fucking everything: helicopters, Iron Mans (yes, plural), a Dutch angle, Ben Kingsley floating in a chair in the air, Guy Pearce‘s severed head and so much more! We’re mostly amazed they couldn’t find room for Rebecca Hall or some disembodied part of her body. Listen, we get the attraction of serving up an eyeball ejaculation of imagery for a tentpole movie, but this just looks silly, though maybe little kids will think its zomg so cool or whatever they text to their friends these days.

Meanwhile, in meaningless update news, Kevin Feige has revealed that Joss Whedon has seen the conclusion of “Iron Man 3.” So what did he say? “Now what am I supposed to do now? What am I going to do in ‘Avengers 2?” YOU GUYS. That guarantees “Iron Man 3” is going to blow our minds and/or Shane Black found an even better restaurant for the post-credits sequence.

Anyway, we’ll find out sooner or later. “Iron Man 3” opens on May 3rd. [IGN/CinemaBlend]
