Officially selected for the Cannes Film Festival, with two new trailers, some new images and a U.S. poster as well, it has been a good week for anyone looking forward to Nicolas Winding Refn‘s next bruiser, “Only God Forgives.” And now the week will cap off with one more look at the film.
A fresh, new poster has arrived, bearing the official Cannes logo and featuring Ryan Gosling throwing his usual brand of stoic shade. In the film he plays the son of a drug baroness who goes on a quest to avenge the murder of his brother, and winds up throwing down with Chang AKA The Angel Of Vengeance. Cool music, cool choreography and even cooler violence all follow, presumably. “Only God Forgives” puts its fists up on July 19th. Check out the new one sheet below.
