Eight New Character Posters for 'Snowpiercer' Revealed, Bong Joon-Ho Joins Surge of Korean Directors Making English-Language Debuts

Eight new character posters have been released for Bong Joon-ho’s post-apocalyptic trainride and first foray into English-language films, “Snowpiercer,” starring Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, Octavia Spencer and Jamie Bell. Joon-ho joins Park Chan-wook and Kim Jee-woon in 2013 as Korean filmmakers making their move to English-language films; Chan-wook (“Oldboy,” “Thirst”) directed the stylish but fairly terrible “Stoker,” while Jee-woon (“The Good, the Bad and the Weird”) directed Arnold Schwarzenegger in “The Last Stand.”
