Yes, the great extended soundtrack preview of “The Great Gatsby” continues, and your week is capped off by one more full song from the movie, this time from Sia.
The Australian electro-pop-jazz singer (she’s a bit difficult to put into a single box) has contributed the evocatively titled “Kill And Run,” and she joins Lana Del Rey and Florence And The Machine in delivering a soaring contribution to the soundtrack. This actually might be the best song we’ve heard yet, devoid of the artificial smokiness of Rey or the obvious crescendos of Florence, and arriving fully formed and powerful. Not bad at all.
