Melissa McCarthy displayed her range during her hosting gig at Saturday Night Live (clips below). She began her second turn hosting the show with a welcome and rare dose of old-school physical humor in her klutzy opening monologue.
While McCarthy held her own during a send-up of “The Voice,” the cast-members playing Voice judges stole the skit. In order of the most hilarious misplaced enthusiasm: Usher (Jay Pharoah), Shakira (Kate McKinnon), Adam Levine (Bill Hader), and Blake Shelton (Jason Sudeikis), with a surprise appearance from Cee-Lo (Kenan Thompson).
