Richard Tulk-Hart has joined as Senior Vice President, Head of TV Sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), while Jo Sherlock has been appointed as Vice President, TV Sales EMEA.

Speaking on the acquisition, Miramax’s Executive Vice President, Global Digital Beth Minehart stated “as viewing platforms and fans of high quality content flourish around the world, demand for Miramax content will continue to grow.

“We are pleased to welcome Richard and Jo, both experienced professionals who bring regional insight, relationships and expertise, and to have them represent us and forge new Miramax relationships in the EMEA region.”

Before joining the company, Tulk-Hart acted as Vice President of TV Sales for Fremantle Media. Sherlock’s most recent position was held with The Walt Disney Company as Director of Media Distribution EMEA (North).

In addition to their global expansion plans, Miramax has also announced that Emily Briggs, former Director of Content Acquisition at Netflix, has been named the company’s new Vice President of Digital Sales.

“Miramax also remains deeply focused on working with digital platforms, which continue to grow and present unmatched opportunities for our content,” continued Minehart, “and we welcome Emily, who brings strong acumen in this dynamic space, to the Digital Sales group.”
