Coinciding with yesterday’s announcement of its spot on the 2013 Cannes lineup, Nicolas Winding Refn’s upcoming “Only God Forgives,” is continuing its recent stream of releases with a new poster for the Bangkok-set thriller, capturing the trailer’s brooding tone perfectly with its new tagline, “Time To Meet The Devil.”
The poster itself is plot free, abandoning stars Ryan Gosling and Kristin Scott Thomas for neon-soaked imagery seemingly reflecting the film’s visual style. Watch the trailer here in our recent Trailer of the Week column on the film’s latest preview.
“Only God Forgives,” will be released in the U.S. on July 19th, and as previously stated will premiere late next month in Cannes. Stay tuned for more information on the film and check out the poster below.
