“Long Distance”
Tweetable Logline:
Elevator Pitch:
meets girl, girl and boy like each other, but boy and girl live 2,000
miles apart. There is something there. They both know it. They can’t
stop themselves. They have to see where it goes. But will it develop?
Will it grow? Will it last? Will it maintain? Will it be worth it?
Will it be good? What kind of shenanigans can they get themselves into
in the meantime?
Production Team:
Writer/EP: Ted Barnes
Lead Actor/EP: Jeff Allen
Lead Actress: Taylor Cloyes
Editor: Jeff Behray
About the Production:
relationships. Jeff’s experiences greatly influenced the concept and
the overall-ness, whereas mine helped fill in the holes. I love smart
and intelligent romantic comedies (500 Days of Summer and Silver Linings
Playbook being the two more current stars), yet there have been
shockingly few, and none remotely interesting, projects centered on long
distance. Our world is becoming more and more digital and remote,
these relationships are hugely common. It’s time for the concept to
have a champion.” — Ted Barnes
