from refugee to elite athlete. The film brings to life Guor’s escape
from Sudan, his unlikely Olympic qualification, the David and
Goliath-esque battle to get him to compete in the games, and the
international movement that got him there. Guor’s story continues to
unfold: he is a rising star on the marathon circuit and he has the
mission to get South Sudan recognized by the world’s governing body for
athletics so he can finally run under the flag of South Sudan.
