The first trailer for Ron Howard’s “Rush” has landed. Penned by Peter Morgan (“The Queen”), the film stars Avenger Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Bruhl (“Inglourious Basterds”) as ’70s Formula 1 racing stars and rivals, Brit playboy James Hunt and and Austrian Niki Lauda.
Both Hemsworth and Bruhl narrate throughout the trailer in character, chronicling Lauda’s near-deadly crash, followed by his return to the sport and renewed intense rivalry with Hunt.
The Universal film hits theaters on September 20, in time for the front-end of Oscar season.
