'The Decks Ran Red' w/ Dorothy Dandridge Coming To DVD This Week

Am I good or what? In my recent piece about the Dorothy Dandridge film, The Decks Ran Red (HERE), I speculated
that, being a late 50’s MGM film, it was a very likely candidate to be released one day on Warner Home Video’s DVD-on-demand label Warner Archive.

Well guess what? Turns out that it’s coming out on the label
this very week, today in fact. The first
time the film has been available in any video format.

I didn’t have any idea that it was coming out so soon.
Just perfect timing I guess. But as I said in my earlier piece, It’s no
major classic, but it’s definitely a film that’s well worth seeing, especially
for a little seen or known Dorothy Dandridge film
