It’s been over a year since the previous (and, for a while, potentially final) season of “Eastbound and Down” aired, but last week HBO announced that the Danny McBride comedy is still alive and kicking. The series, which is directed by Jody Hill and David Gordon Green, is getting one more eight-episode season, and to prove it, HBO has just released a teaser. Despite lasting just over 20 seconds in duration, it manages to amusingly comment on the long period between installments while also succinctly encompass the foulmouthed hilarity that fans have come to expect from McBride’s Kenny Powers. The final season of “Eastbound and Down” is set to premiere on September 29.
