The first international trailer for Ridley Scott’s “The Counsellor” has landed. The film is the first original feature screenplay penned by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Cormac McCarthy (“The Road,” “No Country for Old Men”) and stars Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem and Cameron Diaz, among others, in a story centered on a lawyer dabbling in drug trade and then suddenly in over his head.
The teaser trailer’s searing, gritty tone — not to mention Javier Bardem’s crazy haircut — has us excited for this one. It hits theaters October 25, via Fox.
