Is “Pacific Rim” going to be the loudest movie of the summer? The advertising is certainly the most jacked up of any movie so far this year (and yeah, that includes “Man Of Steel“) with enough smashing, explosions and dubstep bass drops for three movies. And the marketing is continuing full throttle.
Yet another TV spot has landed for the movie, this time putting Charlie Day front and center. The “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia” funnyman is taking the stock role of Informative Nerd, aka Not Jeff Goldblum in the movie, and it actually seems like a decent fit. Meanwhile, a featurette focused on the monster fighting robots takes you behind the scenes of the movie, which is looking to stomp the competition in the dust. And finally, on a bit of lighter note, here’s a fanmade poster that mashes up “Pacific Rim” with “Jaws” and “Alien” or something. Anyway, nice job Matt Ferguson (via Live For Films).
