"Crime: The Animated Series"

Los Angeles’ Museum of Contemporary Art (MoCA) has teamed with Toronto based animator Sam Chou and writer/filmmaker Alix Lambert to adapt Lambert’s book Crime into a six-part web-series. The show is an exploration of crime and criminal behavior using real interviews and real stories from the actual people. It features a bank robbers, cops, gangsters, and victims of crime but ultimately it’s about how crime affects all of us.  Also, each episode has a drastically different look and is animated by different animator/designers. 

The series will kick-off with a panel discussion in L.A. on July 10th at MoCA Grand (250 South Grand Ave) at 8pm Chou and Lambert will participate, screen episodes and display art from the series.
