Lindsay Lohan Looks Spooked By James Deen in New Poster For Paul Schrader's 'The Canyons'

With just over a week to go before Bret Easton Ellis and Paul
Schrader’s “The Canyons” opens in select theaters and on VOD on August 2nd, IFC Films has released their first poster of the thriller to feature stars Lindsay Lohan and James Deen (their previous one just featured the title).

The film’s been marred by bad buzz ever since Stephen Rodrick’s damning (and fantastically entertaining) New York Times Magazine
feature ran, exposing a production fraught with trouble from the
get-go. In addition to that, the film’s been rejected by both Sundance and SXSW, despite Schrader’s involvement. But as of late, word of mouth has seemed to change in its favor with the Film Society of Lincoln Center coming out as one of its avid supporters by featuring Lohan on their most recent cover of Film Comment magazine, and hosting the world premiere on July 29th, followed by a conversation with
Schrader (more info here).

Will you be catching it? Below check out the poster. Go here for the trailer.
