What can you tell us about talented labor in your state? Do you have robust union representation? There is an ample pool of union and non-union talent, IATSE crew members, vendors and support service companies across Missouri. Our production guide is also available on our website www.mofilm.org.

What are some of the recent productions that produced films in your state? “You’re Next” and “A Horrible Way to Die” were shot in Columbia. All of “Winter’s Bone” was shot in Southwest Missouri. “Up in the Air” based and shot 80% of the film in the St. Louis area.

What cities have their own film commissions in your state? The Greater Kansas City Film Commission.
