Watch: It's George Clooney's Turn to Be Lost in Space in Another Pulse-Pounding Clip from 'Gravity'

Yesterday, Warner Bros. dropped two heart-stopping clips from Alfonso Cuaron’s upcoming visionary space opera, “Gravity.” Both of the nearly two-minute single takes showed Sandra Bullock’s astronaut character drifting off into the black nothingness of space. Today, it’s George Clooney’s turn. In the new two-minute segment, Clooney and Bullock’s astronauts are fighting their way back toward their damaged space station, and in the waning moments of the clip we see Bullock reach out for Clooney to save him…and their fingers break apart.

We at Indiewire are already overly concerned for these two ficitional characters, making it hard to argue with YouTube’s top commenter who claims his dreams of traveling to deep space are now dead. Take a look at the new footage below — if your heart can handle it. “Gravity” is slated to premiere at the Venice International Film Festival before hitting TIFF and premiering nationwide on October 4.
