“No le digas a nadie” (Don’t Tell Anyone)
Undocumented immigrant activist Angy Rivera tells her extraordinary journey from poverty in rural Colombia to the front page of the NY Times
Angy Rivera has risked everything she holds dear to fight for a chance at a future. Being undocumented had long silenced her brave voice, the lack of papers casting a grim shadow of fear and uncertainty. But today she stands strong among hundreds of courageous youths, fighting for a better tomorrow in the only country they have ever known. Their voices are the rallying cry of a generation, their shared dreams to just be given an opportunity. This is the typical immigrant story, wrought of hardship, punctuated by pain but with the courage to dream of better things to come.

About the Production:
“Angy’s story needs to be told because as a country we are at a crossroads that will define who we are as a people. Will we be the country that embraces Angy’s resilience and courage, or will we stand idly by allowing our children to continue to live in the shadows? The fate of eleven million people is at stake and it is youths like Angy who are fighting the fight and making their voice heard. The hope is for this film to join their chorus and put a human face to the struggles created by our broken immigration system.” — Mikaela Shwer
