The first teaser for the third season of HBO’s “Girls,” starring writer-director-showrunner Lena Dunham, has landed. Less of a trailer than a montage of the “Girls” production diary, the new spot is indebted to a main fixture in many twentysomethings’ lives: Instagram! Take a look, below.
In early 2013, the series nabbed both Directors Guild and Writers Guild awards for Dunham, and two Golden Globes, for Dunham’s lead performance and for Best Comedy series. Its second season has been nominated for six Primetime Emmys.
“Girls” Season Three is set to premiere in 2014.
