WATCH: New Clip From Ron Howard's Formula 1 Rivalry Drama 'Rush,' Starring Chris Hemsworth

A new clip from Ron Howard’s upcoming “Rush,” a drama based on the real life 1970s rivalry of Formula 1 racers James Hunt and Niki Lauda, has hit the web before the film’s premiere at TIFF in September.

International hunks Chris Hemsworth (“Thor”) and Daniel Bruhl (“Good Bye, Lenin!” and TIFF entry “The Fifth Estate”) play opposing drivers who face off in pursuit of the 1976 World Championship in Fuji, Japan. Olivia Wilde and Natalie Dormer round out the cast. The brief new clip shows a British-accented Hemsworth (who is Australian) and Wilde cozying up in a garage.

The Oscar hopeful hits US theaters on September 27 via Universal, just in time to kick off awards season following its Toronto debut. Watch the original trailer here.
