The daughters of Hollywood royalty — Steven Spielberg and John Goldwyn — the two wrote the show about three smart but socially awkward girls who attend a girls only high school. Their parents and teachers help them explore life outside the school halls. It’s loosely based on their own experiences at the Marlborough school where they say they got a great education but didn’t know how to interact with guys.
The pair will write the project with Caroline Williams and she is slotted as the showrunner and executive producer. Rashida Jones and Will McCormack will also executive produce. This is the first deal for Goldwyn and Spielberg.
