Following its release on DVD yesterday, Indiewire has obtained an exclusive clip from the bonus features of “Maniac,” the horror flick starring Elijah Wood as a psychotic man with a penchant for woman’s scalps. In the behind-the-scenes footage from the film, which received an IFC Films release over the summer, one can see the amount of fun and focus that went into making such a macabre piece of work that, thanks to French financing, was able to be made with complete freedom and on its own grisly terms.
“Maniac” is now available on DVD.
