Stanley Kubrick Exhibition Coming to TIFF Bell Lightbox Next Fall

After hosting exhibitions dedicated to Tim Burton, David Cronenberg and Grace Kelly among others, Toronto’s TIFF Bell Lightbox is next set to honor Stanley Kubrick via the Canadian debut of the filmmaker’s popular exhibition that premiered in 2004 and has since toured to Paris, Rome, Brussels, Amsterdam, Melbourne, Los Angeles, and most recently São
Paulo. Titled simply “Stanley Kubrick,” the exhibition was developed in collaboration by the Kubrick estate and Frankfurt’s Deutsches

“As an organization dedicated to cinema and its visionaries, it goes without saying that we are delighted to be hosting Stanley Kubrick
next year at TIFF Bell Lightbox,” said Piers Handling, Director and CEO of TIFF. “Celebrating an
extraordinary filmmaker like Kubrick and sharing his incredible career
with new and familiar audiences further reinforces our organization’s
mission to transform the way people see the world through film.”

The exhibition features rare photographs and letters, original props and costumes, screenplays, production materials, and cameras from his nearly 50-year career. 

“Stanley Kubrick” will be opening at the TIFF Bell Lightbox next fall.
