Hulu Renews Original Series 'Quick Draw' For a Second Season

Hulu announced today that it ordered another 10-episode season of one of its top summer performers, the improvised western comedy “Quick Draw.”

The half-hour series, created by John Lehr and Nancy Hower (“10 Items of Less”), follows Harvard-educated Sheriff John Henry Hoyle (Lehr), who uses his forensics
expertise to solve crimes in a small Kansas town.

“The second season of ‘Quick Draw’ will continue to crack up
current fans and win new ones,” said Charlotte Koh, head of development,
Hulu Originals. “We’re really excited to see more of John Lehr and
Nancy Hower’s comedic re-imagining of life in the Wild West in 1875.” The show joins “Deadbeat” and season two of “The Awesomes” as part of Hulu’s 2014 original programming slate.
