WATCH: First Trailer for Darren Aronofsky's 'Noah,' Starring Russell Crowe

A gorgeous first trailer for Darren Aronofsky’s “Noah” has arrived. The biblical epic, starring Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Anthony Hopkins, Emma Watson and Logan Lerman, hits theaters March 28, 2014. Watch below.

Despite reports of a battle over at Paramount for final cut, Aronofsky’s signature visual tenacity appears to be on full display here, with expansive shots of CG-rendered ark animals, haunting visions of flooding, and light-dappled handheld camera work (from Aronofsky’s regular DP Matthew Libatique). While the trailer music is boutique music production house Audiomachine’s “New Beginning,” the actual film score will be by composer Clint Mansell.

The official international trailer is also below. The film’s poster is here.
